ETHRAEON / Creative Estate / Animated Sequence
Ninety seconds, rendered live in your browser from the canonical cue sheet and the three authored shaders, running in step with the trailer crescendo.
What this is, exactly. This is an animated sequence. It is generated by shader code, not photographed. No frame of it has been shot. There is no live action in it, no camera, no cast and no location. It is not the finished film, and it is not a picture master of the finished film. The score is real and is the same ninety second trailer crescendo published on the film page. The eight cues, their timings, the layer palettes, the twelve beat spine and the forty shot titles are the authored source. The motion that carries them is machine rendered.
Cue 1 of 8 / Human Quiet
Desk at Night
Beat 1 / Spark / Human Layer
90 seconds / with score / no strobe
This sequence needs WebGL, which this browser did not provide. The full cue sheet, beat spine and shot list are written out below, and the score is playable on the film page.
Eight cues across ninety seconds. These timings are the authored trailer crescendo cue sheet, and the sequence follows them exactly. The audio file measures 90.50 seconds, so the title card holds a half second past the last cue.
| Time | Cue | What the picture does |
|---|---|---|
| 0:00 - 0:08 | Human Quiet | Amber and tungsten in the dark. Graphite grain, a desk pool of warm light, a single drawn line that begins to glow. |
| 0:08 - 0:20 | Systemic Emergence | The line becomes light. Correlated point clouds separate into actual, apparent and displaced, with the drift shimmer crossing them. |
| 0:20 - 0:35 | Architectural Bloom | Accretion fields gather. Harmonic rings resolve and align. The cell grid folds and reopens. |
| 0:35 - 0:48 | Mythic Dawn | A light horizon rises. Astral rose and nebular ember enter, and the vertical harmonic bands lift with the choir. |
| 0:48 - 1:05 | Ascension | Quantum sand rises through the frame in its authored drift, with a spiral path opening through it. |
| 1:05 - 1:18 | Crescendo | The harmonic sphere expands. Rings, sand and iridescence overlap at their widest. |
| 1:18 - 1:26 | Silence | Everything recedes. One threshold arc holds in near darkness. |
| 1:26 - 1:30 | Title Reveal | A soft gold chord of light, and the title. |
The player above renders live, which is the better way to see it. This is the same ninety seconds encoded to a file, for offline viewing and for the autoplay loop described in the installation spec. It carries a burned in label so that it still reads as animation if it is ever seen away from this page.
1280x720 / 24 fps / 2172 frames / 90.50 s / h264 with the same AAC score / 20.8 MB
The encoded file is not published on this surface. The repository excludes video from version control,
so the master is built rather than shipped. Regenerate it with
tools/film/encode_nexus_sequence.sh, which renders the same eight cues and muxes the same score.
The live player above is unaffected and is the canonical way to watch this.
The three core shaders are compiled and run as authored. quantumSand supplies the rising grain of the ascension,
harmonicRings supplies the alignment and the expanding sphere, and iridescence supplies the sheen across the mythic cues.
Their arithmetic is unchanged. Around them the three engine semantics are rendered as described: Parallax as three correlated
point clouds with lines drawn between actual, apparent and displaced positions, Choir as vertical harmonic bands under a
harmony value, and Corona as a grid of glowing cells with divergence rings under pressure.
Palettes follow the layer table: amber, charcoal, graphite and tungsten for the Human layer, spectral cyan, ultraviolet and
signal gold for the Systemic layer, astral rose, nebular ember and iridescent teal for the Mythic layer.
The clock is the audio element itself, so picture cannot drift from score. The installation accessibility rule is honoured: there is no strobe, every transition is eased, and a reduced motion preference damps the movement without stopping the piece.
